My name is David Smith! The Founder and CEO of Dsmith Productions. I am an experienced music producer, sound engineer, and musician from Woodbury, MN. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Business and Marketing Education with a double minor in Management and African American Studies. I have done music work for billboard charting and Grammy winning music artists. Driven by my strong passion for greatness, I take pride in being there to serve in any way you ask, with excellence and enthusiasm.

Arranged/Programmed the music for the New York Knicks Dance Team along with Dennard Watson (Keyboardist for Nicki Minaj)
Kehlani (2023)
Played and programmed keydrums for Kehlani's WNBA All-Star Halftime performance in 2023.
LATTO (BBMAs 2022)
Programmed and arranged an outro for LATTO's high-rated performance at the Billboard Music Awards in 2022.
GIVĒON (2022)
Created the intro for GIVĒON's 2022 Tour! Go check out a show to hear the best intro I've ever created!
Jazmine Sullivan (2021-2022)
Programmed and arranged two songs for her Jazmine Sullivan's Days N Vegas Set. The songs were Bust Your Windows (3:51) and Price Tags (25:50). She even ended up keeping the Price Tags arrangement for her Heaux Tales tour!
SZA (2021-2024)
Created a live arrangement for SZA that was originally used at a virtual concert in 2021. The song that I arranged was Gardens! The arrangement is also featured on SZA's Apple Music Live concert (exclusively on Apple Music)
Jovonta Patton (2021)
Produced a song for 5 Time Billboard #1 Jovonta Patton's visual album titled: Nothing Can Stop Me. The song infuses the feel of an HBCU drum line with some hard-hitting trap drums!
Tiana Major9 (2022)
Programmed and arranged Tiana's song Collide and the outro for her opening set of Jazmine Sullivan's Heaux Tales tour.
